Guided Troubleshooting Architect
Job Description
- Program OTX procedures based on the fault diagnosis specification for the Bosch Grade-X authoring system
- Define specific OTX requirements and are in close contact with the Diagnostics (DiaSys|NG) development project
- Responsible for assuring the quality of the currently used and new authoring systems (e.g. validation, checker rules, ...)
- Responsible for the tool chain required to implement fault diagnosis (e.g. interface to DiaSys|NG, Grade-X authoring system)
- Develop the infrastructure for creating fault diagnostics (e.g. guided troubleshooting, interactive troubleshooting, symptoms)
- Optimize constantly the SW architecture (e.g. GTS suite with all sub-functions)
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electronics or Electrical or Mechatronics or Computer Science Engineering with 3-8 years of experience.
- Excellent programming skills in OTX, VBA, C# and JavaScript
- Experience in developing (diagnostic) functions in control units and/or tools, such as Bosch Grade-X
- Experience in an agile environment (e.g. JIRA, TFS, ...) an advantage
- Analytical skills related to sophisticated systems – Team player who is proactive in taking the initiative
- Sound command of written and spoken English and German (optional)
- Enthusiastic, communicative personality who can engage with the entire project team, technical experts and users in English and German (optional)
- Understanding about internal combustion engines, systems and applications is an added advantage
- Enthusiastic, communicative personality who can engage with project teams, cross functional teams, technical experts and users in English and German (optional) language.
